Elizabeth Andrade

Energy, Compassion and Joy are the vibrating qualities Elizabeth brings through in her Pilates & Yoga sessions. Her curiosity for movement & inspiration from nature have been the propelling forces guiding her career for well over a decade. Elizabeth is a soccer player at heart and has a Yogi spirit. Her background in semi-professional soccer sparked her passion for exploring the power in body mechanics & kinesiology. As a Yoga practitioner, Elizabeth has been blessed with the wisdom of integrating Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Kundalini principles into her daily life for over twenty years. She believes Joseph Pilates’ core message of breathing the life force into your presence to fuel your essence brilliantly embodies the heart of Yoga philosophies.

Elizabeth trained in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with master instructor Taunya Foerster in Classical mat Pilates through PMA; she immediately began teaching in Gran Canaria, Spain which eventually led to an opportunity to align with power house Absolute You, leading Yoga & Pilates studios in Bangkok, Thailand. For over eight years, Elizabeth developed and fine-tuned her professional skills through the STOTTS’s Pilates method: all apparatus, large group, private, rehabilitation, pre/post-natal and all populations in a dynamic, international setting. She was invited to continue her education in Singapore through Options Studios, acquiring STOTT’s certifications in Mat; Reformer; Core Barre and completing numerous workshops including: Red Cord/Core Suspension; Athletic Conditioning; Pilates for Older Adults; BOSU; and other prop-based trainings.

A calling to return to her hometown in Fort Lauderdale, gifted her a teaching position at long standing, feel-good Studio Be Pilates & Spin in Davie, Florida; which is based in the Power Pilates Classical method. The friendly yet advanced level environment, allowed Elizabeth to express her creativity incorporating Barre, Tower, Reformer and Chair into one invigorating Pilates experience! Her longing to merge her Yogic spirituality with her passion for Pilates has led Elizabeth to Mount Shasta, California, where she believes her quintessence is yet to be experienced. She is deeply honored to be welcomed to the White Mountain Pilates Studio family and excited to share her light with the community.
